iPhone Dump

Woke up this dready day and Robert said to me, "What are you doing today?". I said, "Not much with the rain and all." He then asked me if I wanted to bake 6 mini pound cakes and 2 batches of sausage balls to take to work with him tomorrow.

Um...you JUST now thought of this?? A set of mini pound cakes take almost an hour and 1/2 to bake. Times 3?  And they have to be put in a cold oven!!!

Well, I happily obliged and have 2 pound cakes in the oven and one batch of sausage balls.  I took a quick minute to come to the computer and post some iphone pics!!

Here's what me and the iphone have been up to!! :)

Went to a walk through nativity and of course there was cookies and hot chocolate at the end.

Had a photo shoot with the cousins in Mississippi.  I was very happy how all 8 of them cooperated!!

Annie has been gracing us with her presence quite often.  Lillian is definitely my "dress up" kid.  :)

Baking...and Licking....and BAKING some more today!

I had the privilege of hanging out at the kids school the Friday they got out.  Particularly in Landon and Lillian's classrooms!   It was SO much fun!  I love their school!

We made gingerbread men and a gingerbread house.

The sugar was flowing.  :)

Lillian has the sweetest little class.  You never know what will come out of a 4 year old's mouth.  Super fun to see her with her sweet friends!  We had a little party and played some games and they they sang some finger rhymes for us.  It was so stinkin' cute!

Rhodes mastered chopsticks.  Well maybe not mastered but he was well entertained with them.

We enjoyed one of our early christmas presents!  A dippin dot kit!  We've made vanilla and chocolate so far.

Olivia had a piano recital.  I was very proud of her.  She hit every note and didn't use her music like most of the other children.  :)

Have you ever heard of a sock bun?  Well my mom sent us a youtube video about them and my sister is crazy about them now.  You roll her hair in a sock before bed and you have beautiful curls the next day.  I tried it on Olivia (she's got GREAT hair!).

And I was thrilled with the results!  Easy and age appropriate.  Even a cute hairstyle with the bun itself if you wear it a little lower.

And we've got a ballerina on the loose!  I found some $8 ballet slippers at a payless that was closing and couldn't say no to her.  She's pretty much worn them 24/7.

Well, I'm off to bake some more!  Only 1 more day until our Christmas festivities begin!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
