Rhodes is turning into quite the little "fourth child". Climbing and running around already to keep up with the others. Driving jeeps, slidin' huge slides.
It freaks.people.out.
I guess because he looks like he's 7 months old. But then I put him down and he takes off.
I just think it's hysterical that it makes other mommas so nervous. And why (sometimes) I avoid some certain little parks around town.... :-)
He can't quite get ONTO couches yet, but he sure can get off them.
He's also successfully mastered going up AND down the flight of stairs to the playroom.
I mean, he can't be left out!!!
Which means he's also good at sneaking out the front door and down the front steps to go play outside. He's FAST too!
I've been on the kids pretty hard about closing the glass door ALL THE WAY lately.
He's super tough too. At the park the other day, this kid kept stepping on Rhodes' fingers. hehe Rhodes was completely un-phased but the mom kept getting onto her kid. Though I'm not sure the kid knew he was even stepping on Rhodes.
We're finally getting some words out of him! He can say "uh oh" and bark like a dog when you ask him what a dog says. And he'll finally try to repeat things after you. Where at first, it was just a grunt.
He also mimics me when I call for Landon. It's pretty cute.
Rhodes is at such a fun age right now!! He's super friendly and smiley and full of personality!!!
Sometimes I don't know how people STOP having kids! They're just so darn cute and funny!!!!

Night Games
During this season of baseball there were two 7:15 night games on the schedule. Well, if you know me, school nights are NOT late nights and we like to have the kids in bed at an early hour.
Well, I figured I could give up TWO nights the whole season to support the Rough Riders.
This was actually kinda a unique night at the ball park. We were the only field lit up and being played on.
And it was FOGGY!
Landon's team creamed the other team....of course!
Have I mentioned we're UNDEFEATED!!?????!
Landon had several great hits. He's only struck out twice the entire season so far.
He had a couple of great plays while playing left field. He's learning to get rid of the ball and watch where the players are to see where to throw it!
And then he's excellent at backing up the first baseman!!!
Rhodes enjoyed watching Landon for 2.5 seconds.
Until he was distracted by none other than a baseball!
I haven't been putting him in a stroller *gasp* at the games and just letting him run free.
Pretty sure he's never staying in a stroller again.
Free to RUN!
Olivia...well, she found other ways to keep herself occupied. Hello cell phones....at least she hasn't started asking for one yet. ;-)
Who knows where Lillian was. (I really did know where she was, she just didn't make it in any pictures) She's made friends with one of Landon's teammates little sisters and they just run around and play hide and go seek around us.
FUN TIMES at the ballpark!!

Hello Again!
Hey y'all!
This week I've been dealing with craigslist. How can you love something so much and hate it so much at the same time.
Those are my feelings about craigslist. It's either really good...or really bad.
My sweet little phone died last Sunday and I've been on the hunt to find what I want within my husband's budget AND avoid going through our carrier to avoid crazy fees and taxes!
HA!
It's been challenging to say the least. Sad to say it isn't quite over yet. But hopefully soon.
But did you know that you CAN survive without a phone?!? I mean, sure I love to be able to pick up and call my husband or catch a last minute lunch/walk with friends, but being "off the grid" is doable....for a period of time.
I sure would hate to have something happen to my kids and no one be able to get in touch with me!!!
Here's what we've been up to!
Movie and popcorn night....all piled on the couch!!!
Playing outside in the WONDERFUL weather!!
Rhodes got a chance to bounce around on the trampoline for a bit...until he was bounced around by the others. :-)
We dug out the camo overalls that were Landon's when he was one.
Guess it cancels out the fact that he's riding a purple and pink barbie jeep....down the hill. And got stuck.
So a sister helped him out!
DAREDEVIL!
Rhodes is already showing great signs of interest in sports!
Tennis AND baseball!
He is READY!!!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!

The Kitchen...For Now
You asked for it, you got it!
Here is how the kitchen is looking these days. Nice and clean and WHITE! ;-)
The view from Robert's office. As you can see, he still has a little work to do on those. Paint, sheet rock, caulk, etc.
BUT, even with a little work left to do on those windows, they still look MUCH better with out broken glass, and ugly metal frames just sitting there.
Loving the cabinets all one color! And I have to say, the paint is holding up well. It's also super easy to wipe down and clean.
Now about those light fixtures. We may never agree on what to do with those. Which is why they haven't been replaced yet.
I know the fan is ugly, but I love it. And use it all the time. It gets hot in this little kitchen!
I suggested that we get 2 matching fixtures and just put one up until we sell the house. That way, I can still use my ugly fan. ;-)
Robert wants to just get it all done at once. Which I totally get. I just know I'll miss my fan.
So would it be so awful to put a prettier fan up? And then another fixture over the table??
Robert also though track lighting would be nice.
We don't know...we're so bad at this "deciding and picking out" thing.
My nice clean, white desk! No more chip and scuff marks! I was able to organize my file drawer full of coupons and now school files! Always have to have my big calendar up or I have no idea what day it is!
So there it is! It's just a simple, clean change that I'm enjoying so far!
Who knows when we'll actually completely finish it. But I will let you know if there will be any other changes!!!!
Thanks for walking with me through it!
