Water Sports

We were on the water at lot at the lake! It's nice having so many people who want to get pulled behind the boat! Makes for great long boat rides around the lake!!!

Olivia got all brave on us and decided she could be pulled up behind the boat with the rope attached to the boat (and not the skis too) and then WAVE at us.  While skiing one handed.  Big deal in the world of 7 year olds. :-)

Another big deal at the lake was that Lillian actually asked to tube.  And then participated for more than 1.2 seconds!  She LOVED it.  And even let Olivia get a little dare devilish.

But had enough after a minute or two and said, "I want to get in the boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

But we were so proud of her for going as long as she did!!

My awesome cousin Jonathan took the kids on quite a few sea doo rides!  They LOVED it!  Thanks Jon Jon! ;-)

I particularly enjoyed the hair do after wards.  Pauly D anyone?!?

My sis captured a few shot of the kids tubing together!  I'm so glad they like it!!

Cousin Keith taking BOTH the kids out for a ride!!

Oh yeah, we did some more of this too.  :-)

NO ONE WAS HURT OR HIT!   Just a friendly reminder.  :-)

And last, but certainly not least, Robert was able to wake board a whole bunch!  And practice all his fancy moves!!!

At the end of the weekend, he decided to take the fin off the wake board.  Which apparently makes the wake board super slick.

Taking the fin off is supposed to help him do a 360 degree turn while still being pulled!

Guess what...he did it!  That's my man alright! :-)

Lacey (my little photography apprentice in training, who also took this picture) named this shot "Walking on Water".

Then he celebrated!

The Husbands.

The Husbands.  The Men my sister and I chose to marry.  Forever.

Pretty sure that Forever part will be fun.  And funny.

Especially if their lives rest in hands of their father in law.  Behind a boat.  In a tube that is too small for them.  :-)

Hanging on for dear life.  Literally.

Oh, did I mention their both 30.  (Well, Robert in less than a month).

I guess if one of them was gonna go, Mac would make sure they would go together.

Brotherly-in-law love.

Their crazy.  And ironically in a crazy 8 double tube.

We all know Robert has a soft side.  But Mac does too.  He does have one little fur daugher.  Her name is Audrey.  And she is spoiled rotten.  By Mac.

Ah....life with these husbands will surely be exciting!

Then the wives went for a spin.  Dad went slightly easier on us than them.  He didn't want to hurt us.  :-)

(taken with my point and shoot by Robert)

We tried to tube pretty...how do you think we did? ;P

I'm Too Old For This

I don't consider myself too terribly old. BUT, I am too old for this. Lacey and I thought we'd have some good fun reminiscing about old times TUBING!! I told Walton not to try and throw us off, but does a 21 year old listen to his older sister??? NO!

I think he quite enjoyed himself.

And there we go. We went a few rounds and then gave up. We both had bad cricks in our necks after that and were terribly sore - but that could have also been from wake boarding the day before.

Thank goodness for Ibuprofen. :-)
