Tacky Xmas

A couple of nights ago, our small group had a tacky christmas party! SO MUCH FUN! I grew up in a family that really loved dressing up.   So I couldn't wait to find something fancy (and tacky) to wear!

I went to a few thrift stores to see if I could find a sparkly dress.  I've worn sequins for the past few parties and was definitely feelin' them again.  :)  I found the PERFECT green sequin dress.  I just grabbed it and didn't try it on.  It was $16.  BUT, it fit like a GLOVE!!!  YAY!


The night before I made some earrings to go with my dress.  :)  Yes those are christmas ornaments with a cardboard christmas trees glued on them.

I curled and teased my hair....and pulled out the bright red lipstick and false eyelashes! (what can I say, I don't get out much....i LOVE to get dressed up!)
